Based out of Washington State, his music echoes the rich textures of the landscape that surrounds him and migrates between the hypnotic rhythms and cascading melodies which makes Trance arguably the most artistic form of dance music. As people have often stated, ‘this is music for the mind body and soul’.
History
To encapsulate all those nuances in a single moment requires an accumulated knowledge of what has preceded you before you can move forward. Listening to his parents’ record collections which included master acts like U2 and The Beatles gave him an understanding of how to arrange a song. As he grew older, he began to play with recording software but it was not until the pandemic hit that the journey to a full blown career began to blossom.
Influenced by the likes of Metta & Glyde, Andrew Rayel, Aly & Fila and more, he started to produce music that reflected those inspirations, but which added his own unique signature to his tracks. All of that hard work and dedication paid off in 2021 with the release of the appropriately titled Let’s Begin. A cosmic ride into the cataclysmic world of powered Trance, it set the marker for what was to come.
Vision
From that moment on he has released a steady stream of tracks that have resulted in dance floor delight. His latest song Come Alive is a further example that he is on the right path and capable of setting the world alight. His biggest hit to date by far, featuring evocative and haunting vocals, NickelJT has brought the best version of himself to the main stage and then some.
